This purchase was the smart thing to do. With two kids and their Ipods there will be times when a car charger is a must. The only thing I would change is the length of the cord on the charger - maybe a little longer.

After approximately 3 months of light usage, the car charger stopped working. Just died. Kaput. I'm very disappointed that Amazon LLC (the seller of this item) will only give me a "partial refund" IF I'll pay the shipping. Guess what? For a $13.00 item, I'm basically stuck.
Poor quality control. Don't buy this item!
