Digital camera reviews of Griffin iTalk Pro - MicrophoneDigital camera Review: Didn't work with my iPod Summary: 1 Stars
Apparently it only works on certain iPods; not mine. It was not obvious in the description.
Digital camera Review: Disappointing! Summary: 3 Stars
Although the iTalk Pro has been made pretty easy to use (push to record) and easy to transfer voice files to your PC, the quality of the sound is certainly far from that a PROfessional would need. The PRO suffix is quite a misnomer, but Griffin Technology isn't the first to mis-use that word. There is too much high frequency hiss in the sound so you couldn't really use it for, say, pro voice recording. It might be OK in low-sensitivity mode with a loud band. The loud band would produce enough sound to make a reasonable sound level and mask the high frequency hiss altogether. I tried speaking into a good stereo Sony Mic plugged into the iTalk. I compared it with the Sony DAT using the same Mic and was very disappointed at the hiss. I guess it was too good to be true that I'd be able to replace my $1000 DAT with a $34 assessory to the iPod.
Digital camera Review: Does NOT work with IPod Touch ! Summary: 1 Stars
The ITalk Pro is not compatible with IPod Touch!
When you connect it to the Ipod touch it automatically disconnect the external speakers. On top of that the microphone doesn't work (it does work with my ipod Nano).
I purchased the Italk for VOIP (Skype) but it does not work with any of the apps.
Digital camera Review: Doesnot Work Summary: 1 Stars
Bought for my daughter, supposed to work on second generation Nano. By description, we have a second generation Nano. Error message states device not supported. I have not had the time to trouble shoot. Would not get one.
Digital camera Review: Don't buy it Summary: 1 Stars
Got this and it's really not as good as the irecorder application now provided free by Apple.
