Digital camera Review: Cheap and junk.

I bought this switch about 6 months ago. When I took it out of its packaging I already thought to myself, wow this thing feels pretty cheap, but I hooked it up and tried it out. For the first two weeks it worked pretty well, I really didn't have any problems. However after about 3 weeks in one of the input ports stopped working and I'd have to fiddle with switching the cables from one input to another. Slowly but surely all the inputs stopped working and I couldn't get any signal.
So in short, this switch was only a temporary item because it doesn't last very long. If you're considering buying one, don't expect it to last. This time around I'm going with a switch that runs off its own power.
