Digital camera Review: A Cable is a Cable

I purchased this cable to connect my PlayStation 3 to a 32" 720p LCD televison. Before I got this cable in the mail, I was temporarily using a much more expensive Belkin HDMI cable that I normally use for something else. After switching cables, I can say that there is absolutely NO detectable difference in video or audio quality (and that means alot coming from me, as I know quite a bit about HD sets). You could go out and purchased a $79.99 HDMI cable "specially" made for the PS3, (or any other HD device) or you could get this one for just under $2, which does the EXACT same thing! You don't need to spend big bucks to get the most out of your HD TV.
The only downside to this cable is that it comes with absolutely no paperwork, or warranty of any kind. It just comes in a sealed plastic envelope. Fortunately, HDMI cables are pretty much self-explanitory: you plug one end into your TV, and the other end into your player.
I definitely reccomend picking up this HDMI cable to get the most out of your HD TV. There is NO need to spend $80 for a major brand name cable!

I bought these cables for my Samsung HD TV to connect a Blue Ray Player and Cable DVR. The key to a great signal without interference is the length of the cable. If all you need is a six foot connection, these cables work fine, however, I will admit the monstrous cables and high tech looking cables look much, much better, but heck, who sees them? They are behind the TV! If you are seeking longer cables, 8, 10 or 12 feet in length, I would recommend spending the extra money (and a lot of it). For 90% of television users who want or need HDMI cables, these are perfect.Digital camera Review: A Great Value

I did a little research online before buying this for my new TV and Bluray. It worked as advertized, though the construction was a bit flimsy as compared to those Monster cables I saw at Best Buy. But then I would not complain much since these cables were only a fraction of the price of those 'monsters'. But the sound was exactly the same. I would never buy cables at any brick and mortar stores ever again. They all had cables, some just as cheap looking as these and cost much more. Thank you, Amazon, for saving us a bundle. The cable arrived quickly and in a small package which was able to be place in my mailbox.
Quality of the cable as to it's construction did not seem as high as those cables you see
sold in stores for $40 plus, but was still of a good quality, especially for the price. I
did like the fact the the plug was not overly thick which made it much easlier to plug in
to those tight spaces some tv's seem to have. A good value for the buck.

I bought the second one because of how well-constructed the last one was. But this cable is of lower quality than the one I purchased previously. Thinner cable - not sure if that translates into lower audio/video quality.
