The first thing that needs to be said, it's amazing that BestBuy wanted 80 bucks a cable for Monster Cables. I did research online before buying my new HDTV and the one part that the guide stressed was to NOT by cables at the store.
Between Cables and the Surge protector they tried to sell me it would have cost 180 bucks! I came on Amazon and found all the reviews on this cable and, like the rest, decided at a 1.50 a cable it's worth a shot! WOW! So instead of paying 160 bucks for two Monster Cables @ Bestbuy, I got two of these for 2.75!
What's the one bad thing? Well they're made in red China. If you're like me, I like to buy as many things made in the USA as possible. However, with this wing of the consumer market I think your choices are very limited as to what is and what's not made in red China.
They're worth a shot and hopefully you searched here before you got convinced into buying 80 dollar cables at the retail store!

Shopping around for an HDMI cable and seeing the $80, $90, and $100 price tags out there, of course I was skeptical about a $5 product. Then again, it's only $5 dollars, so the risk isn't that much. Turns out the risk was well worth it. Cable works wonderfully. Very sharp, clean picture. Audio through the cable is excellent. It's nice to replace the YPbPr-video+L/R-audio (5 cables) with one HDMI cable that does it all and does it better. I ordered 2 because they were so cheap. First cable plugged in, and had a lot of snow, and if I moved the cable I would lose signal after an LCD flashback.
I tried the second cable and had no issues.

This cable cost at least $25 in a stereo store, you can get 10 of these for that cost and they work great.
