I own a PC repair business, and I can tell you, one thing that will eventually destroy your printer is using refills. The ink is almost always lesser quality, and will eventually gum up the printer. Using HP ink, the color tones are better, pictures and documents last longer and you get more prints. Refills usually don't give as many prints as an original cartridge, due to the fact the ink is usually thinned out. In the long run you are not really saving any money using a refill, especially if it kills the printer. Always use brand ink for whatever printer you have.
