It's so hard to remember when you actually are near an officemax or staples what EXACTLY the number on that cartridge was that you were needing so soon - and to buy the wrong one risks wasting money. Being able to go online, when you're right near your printer, and get what you need at a great discount AND with free shipping made an exasperating scenario, easy. One of the better HP cartridges. It will print about 2X as many pages as the newer cartridges. It would be classified as an XL cartridge if it were for new model printers. They do have a tendancy to die before running out of ink, which seems to be at the root of the class action law suit against HP. With the refill kits available on-line, the cartridge is very easy to refill for just pennies. They can be refilled many, many times.
