The only thing cheap about HP is some of the printers you can purchase. The price of this cartridge is so expensive. I got rid of the printer and purchased a laser printer where I can get a few more thousand pages at a much cheaper price. I am so thrilled with these XL cartridges. I am an elementary teacher and private tutor, so I do a ton of printing. I had almost decided that I should just throw out the printer everytime I ran out of ink. I had even tried refilling the cartridges (extremely messy and inconsistent results) These cartridges are pricey, but they seem to last forever! I can print now without these little dollar signs spinning in my head! Happy, happy, joy, joy!
