Digital camera reviews of HP 88XL Black Officejet Ink Cartridge in Retail PackagingDigital camera Review: Hate paying the HP price, but you can't beat the quality Summary: 5 Stars
Ink cartridges are, as almost everyone knows, hugely profitable for the printer companies who have even taken refillers and imitators to court in order to perfect theier monopoly. I used to buy third-party cartridges - and destroyed an Epson printer with a bad cartridge. The vendor, whom I purchased from before, basically disclaimed responsibility.
Since then I use only ink cartridges from the printer manufacturer. True, they are obscenely expensive, but I haven't lost a printer to them either.
The HP 88XL installs in my HP printer without hassle and delivers trouble free performance. The page output quantity is easily twice as much as from the standard size cartridge.
So, I hate paying the price, but I am getting what I pay for in this instance: lots of pages and trouble free operation.

Digital camera Review: Hp 88 Ink Summary: 4 Stars
this add was misleading. the picture shows an oem hp ink cartridg but when i got it in the mail it was a refurbished one. i was a little dissapointed about that. on the bright side the ink that i did get is really good quality and works well with my printer.
Digital camera Review: Less than 2 months and already out of Ink Summary: 1 Stars
Don't ask me how that happened, but we definitly do not print that much stuff for a $50 ink cartridge to be done in 2 months.
Digital camera Review: Works great in L7580/L7680 Summary: 5 Stars
This cartridge is shown on HP's website to be fully compatible with L7580 (which I own) and the near identical L7680 printer. I use it and it works great and is a good deal.
Digital camera Review: Works great with HP Premium Plus Photo Paper and Plain White Inkjet Paper Summary: 5 Stars
Works great with HP Premium Plus Photo Paper and Plain White Inkjet Paper and I've bought two so far for HP OfficeJet Pro L 7580. This time it lasts twice long because this is XL inkjet cartridge. You have to try it and price-wise it make sense to go big.
