I read the reviews on this product as to the difficulty of wireless setup. It is not a simple procedure and I have yet to get mine working (I have not spent enough time with it I suppose).
USB wired, it works great! If you are purchasing for the convienience of wireless use, expect to spend a lengthy amount of time with setup.
Digital camera Review: Good Printer - Bad Software and Installation

I got this printer a couple months ago and it is a pretty good printer, although for "portable" is is big. The model I got was the "network" model that came with a WiFi dongle. Every attempt I made to install the software failed with a crash on my Vista, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003 computers. A newer update from the HP website also failed to install. The installation must have installed the drivers OK because the printer works fine using a USB cable. On a whim, I plugged in an old cheap bluetooth dongle I had lying around and, to my surprise, the printer works well using bluetooth.
I also have a Windows Mobile 6.1 SmartPhone. There is an option to install a driver in a SmartPhone. When I installed it I got a "not a valid windows executable" error on the phone. You could send off for a free "Pro" version of the Smartphone software and drivers. I tried twice and never got it. Then I got a new SmartPhone with Windows Mobile 6.5 and saw that it included an option to install this very printer using bluetooth. It worked on the first try! However, it prints the HTML markups in a document.
So, in conclusion...: It is a good printer that is suitcase portable. It works very well on a USB cable or via Bluetooth. I never could get it to work with WiFi. I never got it to work with Windows Mobile 6.1, but it works marginally with Windows 6.5 as long as you don't try to install the Mobile application that came with it.

I really love the size of the HP Deskjet 460c mobile printer. It prints clearly and quickly. The only thing I don't like, is that if it is installed for USB connection, you can not use it wirelessly, you have to reinstall it and set it up for wireless use.Digital camera Review: Great Portable Printer

Somewhat bigger than I had anticipated, but even so, it works like a dream. A great solution for the itinerant computer-user. Seems very reliable to date.
