Digital camera Review: A Solid Little Printer

When my HP932C printer died after nearly 10 years of hard labor, I needed a printer NOW. Money was a factor in my getting this printer, but regardless, this is a good printer. It prints as well as my 932 which was a great printer. I read another review where someone claimed it is quiet. Quiet in comparison to a food processor? That said I don't really care about it making some noise as long as I can hear my radio while I'm printing (I can). The only fly in the ointment is the power switch which can be a little uncooperative when trying to turn the printer off. Back to the price $29 and change is pretty sweet for a good printer. I don't bother with HP Printer Cartridge Extortion so I can keep it in cartridges without it breaking the bank. www.houseofinks.com will get you what need cheaply and they pay the shipping. This HP product replaced the earlier Deskjet 3930 version. It is well worth the price. I spent no more than fifteen minutes setting it up, including the addition of the software onto my hard drive. The print quality is excellent and the item is not too noisy. Dollar for dollar it deserves a high recommendation. The previous HP printer lasted about four years. I didn't expect much for $30, but I did expect it to print more than one page without jamming and shredding the paper. I did expect to be able to delete documents from the driver when they failed to print. I did expect to be able to install it easily. It did none of these and, when you add in the price of the cable and ink cartridges, it's not not even cheap.Digital camera Review: A good value

After a considerable amount of looking for a simple, single function printer for light use with my home pc, I came across this very inexpensive HP. Several less than rave reviews gave me pause, but for thirty bucks I figured it was worth a try, and was pleasantly surprised to find that it was easy to install and pleasant to use. The printer does rattle and hum a bit at the end of a print job, but if you're looking for a basic printer for home use, this one is definitely well worth its very modest price.Digital camera Review: A nice printer for the money!

Doea a great job with black ink printing, and lines up perfectly. Uses a lot of black ink so buy extra. Took me a while to set up as I had to erase old HP printer software.
Does NOT come with a USB cable!!!!
