Digital camera Review: DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PIECE OF JUNK!!

This is the worst printer I've ever owned in my life. I needed something quick, cheap and easy to get me through the rest of the school year, so I picked this up for $32. I just needed basic printing and was happy to get something that did color and b&w. It was easy to set up (although it did not come with a very necessary cord, but thankfully I had one at home). But it has NEVER ONCE printed correctly on the first try. Last week, I spent hours and hours trying to print items I needed for an assignment the following day. Every single time I try to print a page with color, it prints a few lines and then jams. I then have to reboot the printer AND my computer to try to get it to print again. Every. Single. Time. It is the most horrible, worthless piece of crap I've ever owned EVER. I plan on writing HP and telling them how bad this printer is. Then I'm going back to the store I purchased it from and demanding a full refund. This thing is nothing but a headache. I would have been better off going to Kinko's and printing out my assignments - it certainly would have been quicker to do that!Digital camera Review: Decent for the price

I use at work for small print jobs. Find it to be rather noisy. Lots of chugging and clicking going on. Recommends not to load more than 10 sheets - less is better or it will jam. Also don't overwhelm it with too many print jobs at one time - loooong pause with green light flashing "I'm thinking, I'm thinking . . . ". I bought the Deskjet d1660 because it was cheap and I needed it for a school assignment. I happen to own an HP computer also, and the compatibility is great. I did have a bit of trouble finding the driver after I lost the disk. The print quality is so-so, and the printer sometimes gets jammed with the paper. The ink for this printer is a bit costly, but you can't expect much out of such a cheap printer. All in all, it is good printer if you have a limited budget, but if you can afford it, I would recommend buying a costlier one. In the long term, the more expensive printer actually saves you money.Digital camera Review: Deskjet D1660

Note! you must use only HP approved print cartriges or you will experience problems
of the printer not recognizing a print cartridge. I highly recommend this printer
to all !!!

The [ASIN:B002FB64Z2 Deskjet D1660 Printer (CB770A#B1H)]] printer is everything I was hoping to find! Its compact size is perfect for my small office space, it has only the basic features that I need (no fax, and these days it's hard to find a printer with no fax), and it produces pictures quickly. Very simple to set up and use. You can hear it printing, but for the low price, I'm sure not complaining!
