Digital camera reviews of HP Deskjet D1660 Printer (CB770A#B1H)Digital camera Review: Deskjet Printer - Great & Cheap Summary: 5 Stars
The Deskjet D1660 Printer is wonderful. Our other printer had out lived its life and we needed a new one. We just love this one - work every time.
Digital camera Review: Didn't work Summary: 1 Stars
I have an earlier model of this printer and I have never had any problems. Unlike the earlier model, this printer didn't work for me. The power button would flash after it would feed a piece of paper and then stop half way through the print leaving one half of the sheet blank. Then it wouldn't automatically feed the paper to get it out. I had to pull it out manually. Sometimes it would just feed the paper and not print anything. Searched the problem online and found that there were several people who complained of the same issues. I had all the required specs mentioned, so I am not sure why it didn't work, but I would not recommend this to anyone.
Digital camera Review: Do You Enjoy Paper Jams? Summary: 1 Stars
Reader, you can trust all of the bad reviews. This printer jams constantly.
It also stops printing in the middle of a job for no apparent reason, never resuming.
I will not be buying more ink for it. When the ink runs out, I will throw this printer away; and I will buy a new printer of a different brand.
HP should be ashamed of themselves for putting their name on a machine that is so inferior.
Digital camera Review: Don't waste your money Summary: 1 Stars
Unfortunately we bought this as a replacement for a HP all in one printer. You get what you pay for.
This printer loves to freeze and not print. The only way I found to get it to print is to restart the computer. If you try to delete the printing (by clicking the printer icon) it won't do it.
Very, Very tempermental printer with pricey ink.
You CAN NOT refill the HP 60 ink cartridges from what I have found out
Digital camera Review: EASY & CHEAP PRINTER Summary: 4 Stars
My Cannon, which I have had forever, died. Was looking for a cheap and ease of use ink-jet, and found this. This would be used in a low impact setting with only occasional jobs. Didn't want WI-FI, or any other special perks.
I find it is now advertised for $10 less than I paid for it. Heck of a bargain.
Had it installed, up and running in 1/2 hour. VERY easy instructions.
Be sure to order a USB cord along with it, as unit does not come with one.
