I ordered several of these for the school at which I work. The printer is nothing fancy, but it is very inexpensive and "just works." It does not come with a black ink cartridge, but it can still print black by mixing ink from the color cartridge (though it resembles a very very dark brown rather than black).
I consider this a feature -- if the black ink runs out (once you purchase a black cartridge), the printer is still fully functional even if the black ink cartridge runs out.
Amazon had by far the best price on this printer (never underestimate the value of free shipping!) and their service has always been top-notch.
Rated 5 stars, taking into account the low cost of this basic printer.
