Digital camera reviews of HP Deskjet F4280 All-in-One Printer (CB656A)Digital camera Review: All-N-! value Summary: 5 Stars
Good product; a value for the money. Prints a bit slower than other HP's, but it's ok for home use.
Digital camera Review: Almost perfect Summary: 4 Stars
You can't beat the price of $60.00 total...no tax and free shipping...a great deal. Plugged it in, let Vista find the drivers, and it was working. The only, very minor thing I didn't like was that the printed copies ended up on the floor until we flipped up the little clip. This just seemed an odd way to catch the copies. With that said, I would challenge anyone to find a better all-in-one for a better price.
Digital camera Review: An excellent classroom printer Summary: 5 Stars
This is a nifty little story about a nifty little printer, the HP Deskjet F4280 All-in-One Printer, Scanner, Copier, that sits in its nifty little spot in the school library where I work, and hooked up with the librarian's computer.
I HAD to replace the old library printer which printed only black and white. Even though now I must provide my own ink, I have saved myself countless time in having the capability of printing something I find on internet, printing right there on the spot in that moment, instead of waiting until I get home to print in color (and risking forgetting the website or losing it if I bothered to write it down).
Back in August I bought this unit on sale at a local chain in my city. I love it for its practicality, compact size, reliability, and quality printing. Had it not been on sale, I would have purchased a copy from Amazon, famous for its quality of service and prices.
Back to the story. My library has two computers, one for students and one for the librarian, but we had only one printer, ancient, but adequate, connected to my computer. I moved it to hook up with the student computer and then attached the HP to my computer. Now if I need one more copy of something, voila, I make one right then. No more running downstairs! (I still run multiple copies on the school Big Momma printer! If a student needs a picture of something, voila, right there I can make him/her a copy.
There is no need to list and describe this printer's attributes. Other reviews wonderfully provide those necessary details. What this review provides is a testament to the quality and low price of a great little printer.
Ah, this HP Deskjet 4280 is a thing of beauty. And quality. And reliability. And all-in-one convenience. And quiet servitude. I like that in a printer.
Digital camera Review: Arrived damaged Summary: 4 Stars
I ordered this printer because it could enlarge or reduce images. It
arrived in a damaged box, and when I opened the box, the ink cartridges
looked like they had exploded. I contacted the seller in Arizona who said he would contact UPS to send a return label. Over a month later,
he won't return my calls, and hasn't sent a return label. I would not
recommend the company of Alexander Rodriguez for anyone to purchase any
item from.
Digital camera Review: Avoid this printer Summary: 1 Stars
It takes more than an HOUR to install printer drivers, with all the useless bells and whistles - or WITHOUT them. Yes, if you select Advanced setup and pick only absolutely necessary components, it still takes forever to install them.
The printer itself may choose to print just first half of a page in the middle of a multi-page document, and silently restart THE WHOLE JOB. Imagine if it happens when you are printing reverse sides of pages. The whole stack goes to wastebasket. Can I charge HP for all the paper and ink this printer wasted?
User interface of software is so inconsistent, it is almost brain-dead.
I never wrote a product review, but I have to warn other people: do not buy this "product"!
