Digital camera reviews of HP Deskjet F4280 All-in-One Printer (CB656A)

Digital camera Review: Easy Set up and fast print times.
Summary: 4 Stars

This printer was very easy to set up. It took a while to install though, but once it was running it was perfect. It has fast prints times and the copys are razer-sharp.

I was happy that it came with full ink cartriges, but I was unhappy that I had to spend $20 on a USB cable.

Overall this is a very good printer and works with vista. It is fairly priced too.

I will highly recommened this printer.

Digital camera Review: Economical Price.
Summary: 4 Stars

Flimsy power button, I pressed it and it sunk into the printer. OMG, now it's slanted forever. Well, I get what I pay for. It definitely gets the job done; It's loud, takes up alot of space, and printing quality is ok. It tends to smear..(might be the ink) Well, it's a good product, cheap price, expect some cheap quality, but will do what it needs to do. It grows on you. I love it, but it's still cheap.

Digital camera Review: Excellent buy for the price
Summary: 5 Stars

Was everything I had hoped for and I'm totally satisfied I could not have done better for the price. It is quick and quiet, my wife printed nearly a ream of notes for an upcoming conference without a hitch and it still has ink! My old printer would still be working on the project!

Digital camera Review: F4280 Printer
Summary: 5 Stars

My old printer was not working well with Vista. Jumped on Amazon.com and in 10 minutes, the new printer was on the way. Took all of 10 minutes to hook up. Works very well. Ink does't last, but what printer does.

Digital camera Review: F4280- No Problems after 30 mos.
Summary: 5 Stars

Purchased this a while back to replace a Brother MFC that stopped accepting to reset after changing ink cart. It came on every day and used ink anyway, guess cause it was a fax but never had connected to phone-line. Any way bought this F4280, set up in 5 min and is still in use. Writing this because I see so many 1 and 2 star reviews. Has worked flawlessly for me. I don't print much, copy a dozen or so times a year and maybe a photo or two a year. So it fits my needs perfectly. It is a little on the noisy side but you can't de-rate it as is perfectly acceptable for its' price class. Print speed is fine as well as copy speed. Print and copy quality are also fine,Photo quality leaves a bit to be desired though, but then again if you are using for photos should be in a much higher bracket. I give this rating on that basis and not comparing it to a $200 printer. In fact I still have original ink cartridge! (guess that shows how little I use!). Only Problem was when I got a new computer-the software would not install on Windows 7-worked perfectly on XP. Went to HP web site to download new software-no go. That was several months ago so left it set up on old computer. AS ink is getting low (finally!)decided to replace with a Canon MP280 for the same price as an ink replacement for the HP! I wanted a black one anyway. Before disconnecting the HP tried the web site once more and this time the soft ware installed flawlessly. They must have up-dated it since last time to be compatible with Windows 7. In short I see no problems with this printer and would highly recommend. After 30 months mine works fine and will keep as a stand alone copier, not connected to a computer. If you want an inexpensive printer for occasional printing and copying the F4480 fits the bill. One comment on HP customer service- they tried to sell me a new printer with out even attempting to resolve software install problem! I just tried one more time for my own satisfaction.
