Digital camera Review: (Do not buy) Warning Poorly Designed and Overpriced

I certainly learned my lesson about buying something on impulse without adequate research. I should have come here first to read the reviews to save myself the trouble of having to return this poorly designed and overpriced product. The review by Kevin Nicholls, "A Solution Looking For A Problem, October 5, 2009" summed it up really well (except I do not think the product is any kind of "solution" since the overpriced "features" are so poorly implemented). I wanted to add my own brief view because I really think this product is poorly designed and poorly documented.
* The first thing I noticed was no remote control battery in the box and it was too hard to figure out what Li battery model number is needed from the documentation (not in the index of the user manual, not on the "quick start" sheet, and not in the tech specs (web or user manual versions). The poor quality control exhibited by the missing battery is one thing, but not making it easier to find out what battery to buy is just terrible.
* Access to online photos is *only* available through snapfish. This was not clear on the box or material on display at Best Buy. Access to my online picture repository was a significant factor in paying the extra money for this device and to find out *after* purchase that I have to move my pictures to snapfish to make this work is a non-starter.
* Even though the device is wi-fi enabled, you can only access weather for a few cities (not mine) so there is *no value* in this features unless you live in NY or Miami. Also not clear prior to sale.
HP makes it very difficult to provide this kind of feedback directly to them on their website so we can only hope they peruse Amazon to find out what they should be learning from consumers on their own. Right now, it looks like you have to buy a touch screen, extra low price, laptop or netbook to get the features that would be useful in a product something like this. At $250 list, you are probably at least halfway there.
