Digital camera reviews of HP Officejet 5610 All-in-One Printer (Q7311A#ABA)Digital camera Review: A nice printer for the price Summary: 4 Stars
I think this is a good printer as far as quality. It produces decent images in color or black and white. I have not yet tried the fax feature, but it seems easy to use. The unit overall is easy to use. Setup was easy, although like most companies HP includes alot of HP related extras you do not need and then have to delte from your PC. Who needs a pop-up asking if I need supplies every couple weeks? The couple of scans I did came out fine. My only complaint is the printer is nowhere near the PPM speed in the specs. I would say 8-12 PPM at best. This is a good light to medium duty all in one. As long as print speed is not a big issue for you I can recommend this HP all in one.
Digital camera Review: A pain in the **s! Summary: 2 Stars
I am an illustrator who works on a iMac G5. I have had a HP scanner before and loved it. I decided because of budget restraints to buy this model as I couldn't afford a larger one. It has been nothing but a nightmare! I was using an Epson Stylus 740i and never had a problem with setting my preferences. That information was in the manual that went with the printer. With the previous HP scanner I had I never had difficulty getting a good scan or inputing into Adobe Photoshop. With the HP software that comes with Officejet 5610, it is more difficult to send a scanned image to Photoshop.
When I do scan an image, now I have to adjust it through their program before I can get a good image. There is too much "junk" and it interferes with my other Adobe programs. I have to jump through hoops to find out where to change the printing and scanning quality and that is not included easily anywhere.
I don't know if I need to set preferences in my software or in the officejet, but I would not recommend this if you have a hard time remembering where each setting dialogue box is.
Otherwise it makes much better prints than by Epson, prints with no problem and faxes with ease.
Digital camera Review: AN OLD MAN,S DELIGHT Summary: 5 Stars
I just recently acquired my All-in-One and have it set up in my den with my relatively new HP Pavilion Entertainment Notebook. This is such a wonderful piece of technology I never cease to be amazed. I just copleted the fax setup today to complete the installation. I am 87 and am in the process of opening my home office in my den. I have an older Desk Top in my finished basement but it is easier to work here. Everything about this All-in-Oned is easier and better. It is incredible!

Digital camera Review: Absolute Garbage Summary: 1 Stars
Needed a replacement printer that was Vista ready. After assurance from Office Max salesperson that it was Vista ready, got it home and found out it was not. The smart thing would have been to box it up and bring it back. But no, I called HP customer support in spite of that fact that they have an abismal record in helping me with my PC issues. They did not have a vista patch yet (What were they waiting for?) so tech support talked me through work around using Word Paint for the scanner function. The carriage jams each and every time I use it. I must open and shut the toner door to remedy the jam. Now it is out of alignment and the self adjust feature does not correct it. It is less than 6 months old. The only fix is to replace it, which I am in the process of doing.
Revision: I was able to replace this product as since the warranty had not run out yet. HP replaced my printer with an equal, but refurbished one that has run much better. I would upgrade to 3 stars
Digital camera Review: Absolutely fantastic! Summary: 5 Stars
Up and running in a flash. No problems. Everything is very user friendly and it's very easy to adjust the settings. I would highly recommend.
