Digital camera Review: DOES NOT PLAY WELL WITH MACS

I have a 3 yr old HP laser that works flawlessly, but this POS doses not work well with Apple products -despite what HP claims on the box.
Wireless never worked with anything - Microsoft nor Apple..
This printer continually drops it's self "off line" for no apparent reason.
This printer seems to have a lot of trouble feeding photo paper, to the degree that it must be hand fed one sheet at a time.
If I can get it to print enough pages to exhaust the big bucks new color cartridge I just installed, this junk is going back to Costco -thank Gawd I bought it there.
Unfortunately Amazon dose not allow for negative stars.

We bought this printer because we needed a fax and copier for our small business. It is unbelievably slow. We timed it today and it took 2 minutes and 40 seconds to copy 5 text pages. Worse yet, the document feeder, which is critical for faxes, doesn't work half the time so we have to stand there and feed each page in one at a time, and even then, it doesn't always feed. And there's the noise issue. It makes a loud metallic groaning noise every time it prints a fax or copy, which is really annoying to listen to. Moreover, it frequently leaves stripes on the copies. We are replacing it today with a Canon and wish we could get our money back on it because it is easily the worst printer we have ever used.Digital camera Review: Daily work horse

In four words, I love this printer. I didn't experience any of the problems that other people voiced. Of course, I am using this simply as a home printer. An office may have heavier demands and find faults with this product. I don't have a wireless hookup, so I simply share this printer with my son via a USB print sharing device that I got cheaply on Amazon. I listened to the other reviews and tried installing with downloads from the Internet. I actually had problems with that and called HP, and they steared me back to the CD that came with it and it installed (custom, because I didn't want all of the software) perfectly. The only thing I haven't figured out, yet, it how to do 2-sided prints from a 2-sided original. As that is not a high priority for me, I haven't delved into it. Likewise, as another reviewer stated, I use Photoshop for photo editing, so don't care about the power of its editing software. So given my needs, this printer produces excellent scans, copies and prints, faxes without a problem and fills all of my needs. I have to agree that the documentation is poor and it is a bit noisy on starting up. Those are my only complaints.Digital camera Review: Dependable two-sided printing

My previous OfficeJet died after a long and faithful life so I was comfortable in deciding to purchase another one. I was especially looking for automated two-sided printing, and this works really well. I also like using the "draft" mode for most printing, which saves ink. Don't rely on the printer telling you when the ink is low; there is a lot left at that point. I print until I can't read what's printed. My biggest complaint is the scanning software - it takes too many steps, and isn't customizable in terms of the default location for saving the scanned documents. It also insists on putting a number at the end of the scanned file name. So I always have to rename files and move them to where I want to save them after I scan them. That said - it scans reliably and well.
