This printer does everything I need it to do. I've used everything but the fax option. I have to agree it goes through the ink pretty fast but overall, a very good buy. I had no problems with the wireless connection to my laptop. In fact, I had more problems inserting the ink cartridges than hooking up the wireless connection. Ater researching for a new printer I thought I was purchasing a top ranked all in one printer. For what ever reason it does not like to work with my dell computer. It can't even be on when I turn on my computer or the computer will not boot up and when things are running it keeps searching for the solution center disk.Digital camera Review: Duplexer issue

Though in theory the automatic duplexing feature of this product should save time, in reality it creates hours of frustration.
Margins are "cut off" on the leading edge, resulting in the impossibility of creating brochures or other documents that require the full margin of the page. Because manual duplexing is not an option with this feature, "work-arounds" to solve the problem are also limited or nonexistent.
Very frustrating, a waste of time and money. Check the web, this issue is not unique to any software or OS, but rather to the HP duplexer driver itself (even other HP models). Lengthy and multiple (although still polite) attempts to contact HP to fix the issue have gone unaddressed for over a year.
Save yourself some headache/heartache and shop around the other major brands for a decent all-in-one.

I give this product 5 out of 5 especially because of the connectivity options. The wireless works perfectly- even allowing you to enter a WPA key right from the front panel. The wireless scan/print and fax functions also work great. The duplexer works- everything works! Setting up the wireless network is such a pain for this printer!!! The printer has A LOT of trouble finding your network and OFTEN goes offline automatically for no good reason. It is very difficult to reconnect the printer to your computer wirelessly and calling HP support has been no help at all.
***If I could, I would RETURN THIS ITEM and wished I'D NEVER BOUGHT IT!!!***
