Digital camera Review: Bloatware Software Does Not Install
Summary: 1 Stars

This is the worst printer software ever! I have spent hours on the phone with tech support in India and finally an American. Have been trying to install the bloatware software for over 30 hours. Keeps coming up with this error (MSI.dot4wrp01) and they have NO answer for it.
Computer now crashes all the time and system restore does not work. I have to use Safe mode to restore. Dozens of emails with tech support, try this - try that, NO THAT DOES NOT WORK - WE ALREADY TRIED THAT 10 EMAILS AGO - AGHHH. Are they that stupid?
What a flipping %@#*&#$ headache, thanks hp for the new paper weight!
The only thing this has printed out was the calibration page after I installed the inks.
My OS is Windows XP Pro and SP2. Will not work with SP3 ether.
Save your time and money and DO NOT buy a hp.

Digital camera Review: Buy the ink and get a free printer
Summary: 1 Stars

HP has found the perfect profit making printer. No question that its quality is superb but the ink costs are staggering. The standard ink almost gets used up as fast as you buy it. The XL lasts a lot longer but you can easily spend close to $100 dollars on ink with all the cartridges (two blacks and three colors, cyan, yellow, aqua). In addition these cartridges have EXPIRATION dates. Ya you got it. Don't buy in bulk. This is a cash draining machine. Stay AWAY!!!

Digital camera Review: COMPLETE GARBAGE
Summary: 1 Stars

I had a previous HP that failed in 13 months. After saying i would not buy another HP, i went and purchased the D7560 for the CD printing. Well, it has been about 5 months and i got the "ink system failure". i tried cleaning and resetting the printer. The India tech support are a bunch of idiotic morons that have zero common sense. This internals of this printer reeks of cheap flimsy plastic. By the way, i had the extra capacity inks that were about a month old and still full. After i got the failure i went to the HP site. I did exactly as they said to resolve the problem. After resetting the printer and cleaning the contacts it used almost all the ink in all 5 ink cartridges. Can your hear "flush"? that's my money going down the toilet!! Based off my experience and the experiences of others, HP makes some of the crappiest products on the market. That includes their laptops.

Digital camera Review: CONTINUES TO USE COLORED INK WHEN SET ON GRAYSCALE
Summary: 1 Stars

I bought this printer about three months ago and was satisfied with it until I discovered that it continues to use colored ink when set on grayscale (Black and White only) setting. Upon further research online I found this problem to be characteristic of the HP brand in general and certain other brands as well. Very sneaky, wouldn't you say? So unless you have money to burn on ink, look for another printer. Or buy a separate black and white printer if you can fine one.

Digital camera Review: Comparing HP D7560 with Epson R280
Summary: 5 Stars

After using the HP 7550 for a number of years I received well spirited bad advice and switched to an Epson R280 because of compatibility with an IMAC OS 10.5. I discovered inaccurate color rendition, ink that required 24 hours to dry and was dissatisfied with its skimpy plastic construction. The first printer arrived with a broken paper easel. The second had the same poor color symptoms with Photoshop or the Leopard photo programs.
The HP D7560, solidly built, knocked out my letter size, borderless prints almost accurately. I did notice that an increase of contrast helped to approach the brilliant color on the Imac screen. The ink dries in a few minutes. There is little difference in final results between Photoshop or IMac programs. There are perhaps a few too many bells and whistles, since I use Photoshop to process my shots. But there are some great features for those who wish to use the printer for processing. With the discounted price, the D7560 seems to be a bargain. I still wonder when they will make a quiet printer.
