Digital camera reviews of HP Photosmart D7560 PrinterDigital camera Review: Excellent Printer Summary: 4 Stars
The D7560 is an excellent printer. No problems in integrating it with my home network. Photos are excellent. Printing speed is also good. When using the 'Fast Draft' print quality selection, the pages actually fly across the room. I have never seen an inkjet printer spit out pages with such force. I made a good choice with a good price.
Digital camera Review: Excellent printer for avid scrapbookers Summary: 5 Stars
I am an avid scrapbooker and I purchased this printer last week. It is truely awesome. For the price, it can't be beat! Set up was fast and easy. I was printing pictures immediately. I used HP Advanced photo paper and the pictures were crisp and clear. Now I can print my own enlargements and enhanced images without making a trip to the nearest photo kiosk. I highly recommend this printer.
Digital camera Review: Excellent printer, excellent price Summary: 5 Stars
I am very pleased with this printer . . . easy to set up, easy to use . . . and the print quality seems to be very good.
Digital camera Review: Fantastic Printer !! Summary: 5 Stars
I've been using an 8 year old HP Deskjet 830C and decided I needed something better especially for photos. Wow, did I find it in this D7560 Photosmart. I ordered on Friday, received on Monday and after about an hour of setup time I am up and running. The test photo of my subject was unbelievably good. The subjects look like they could walk out of the photo. You do need to provide your own USB cord for connection but everything else is included in the box. I am really impressed with this printer and highly recommend it.
Digital camera Review: Full featured printer with software bugs for free!!! Summary: 1 Stars
Update: Avoid this printer. The included HP software is absolutely worthless. Software for printing to CDs has a terrible and unpredictable user interface. It's so bad as to be practically unusable. Can't print in color, can't save your work, can't print two CDs with the same label. You have to redo all of the work again if you want to print 2 CDs.
We purchased this printer because it could print labels directly to printable CD and DVD disks. Printing from the HP software works if you want black and white labels and you don't wish to save your work so you can print out another label. We tried printing from Roxio Creative 10 and the hp driver software insists on calibrating the printer which would be fine if it let you print the label after calibrating it. Attempts to reprint only resulted in another calibration procedure. After several attempts trying different ideas found on Google its pretty clear like a lot of HP software it just doesn't work.
The printer does a nice job of printing 8.5 x 11 sheets of paper and doesn't exhibit the frequent paper jams we have with our other HP printers.
We haven't tried the envelope printing feature so don't know if that is working.
Now what do I do with all of the expensive printable CD and DVD disk I purchased.
The only thing good about this printer is that it prints, when you can get the software to work, pretty good photographs. The software is worthless end of story and the reason why this printer sucks. Printer will not work from Vista 64bit. All that happens is the print spooler gets stuck and the only way to fix it is to uninstall the absolutely worthless software. Another problem is the printer software will turn your Vista sidebar back on even if you had already set it to disabled. Come on HP, if you are going to have software developed in Bangalore India, please insure that the quality doesn't suffer.
Recommend DO NOT BUY this printer until the software is fixed.
I have found a work around and print from a memory stick.
