Digital camera Review: 10 Months of use - One "refurbished" printer and No Luck

At first it worked like a dream. And then, when trying to print on two sides, the printings got stuck in queue. Freezing the printer until they came up with a work around you have to download and play every time it happens. The printer than fell off-line when networked. You can't scan from the scanner unless you use HP's software. They thought it was my duplex-er and sent me a new printer. It still freezes when I double side, but now I have this neat little tool to make it stop. Too bad it wastes ink that runs through nearly every 100 pages and costs $40. Now, on top of that, I can't scan. I have reinstalled the drivers or software over 10 times in the last ten months. I cannot recommend this printer. It is a nightmare to own.

The Photosmart Plus E-All-in-One (which I'll call the Plus eAIO for brevity) can print, copy, fax, and scan. It can scan to a computer or to a memory card, though not to e-mail, and it lacks a port for a USB thumb drive. (It supports memory cards in the SD/MMC/MS Duo families.) Under the scan menu, there's also a Reprint function, which lets you scan a photo and print out a copy on 4-by-6, 5-by-7, or 8.5-by-11 photo paper.Multifunction Devices
