Digital camera reviews of HP Q5949X Toner CartridgeDigital camera Review: A Regular Gutenberg Summary: 5 Stars
I print everything...production files, job proofs, web site articles to be read later, business-related e-mails...everything...reams and reams of paper...like a regular Gutenberg I print, and print, and print.
And does this little toner cartridge come through for me? Yes!!!!! I usually set the printer to a toner-saving setting, and it just goes on and on and on.
The world will run out of trees (and thus run out of paper) before this toner cartridge finally runs out.
Digital camera Review: Awesome toner cartridge Summary: 5 Stars
Awesome! This cartridge is every bit as efficient as the HP cartridge at less than 1/4 the price. I will continue to order my replacements at Amazon Inkers.
Digital camera Review: Better Value Summary: 5 Stars
I like this better than the 49A due to being able to make 6000 copies instead of 2500. The per copy price is lower besides not having to change cartridges so often.
Digital camera Review: Calif-Dude Summary: 5 Stars
Great bargain like so many other Amazon products. But, as always, do your homework by checking around. Automatically, I save 7.75% by not paying a sales tax. In addition, the prices are almost always (but not totally less) and coupled with no shipping....it's hard to beat the price at Amazon!
Digital camera Review: Cost = 6 cents per page and higher. Summary: 5 Stars
.
HP advertises 6,000 pages = 2 cents per page. However this assumes an unrealistic 5% coverage (i.e. 95% of page is white space).
A typewritten page is 15% coverage and therefore = 6 cents per page.
An illustration with lots of black can equal up to 45% coverage = 18 cents per page.
I've owned this printer for the past 6 years. It's an excellent printer and I gladly pay 6 cents per typewritten page. However, let's keep the discussions of cost honest.
