Beware of the "cracked screen" that happened on the previous iPaq. The camera is OK. No night mode. Too costly.
iPaq Rx3415 is better $100 less. But RX 3415 is not available in US??

I like the camera on this device, but indoor pictures do not turn out well, (much too dark). I had one for about 3 weeks, and it just "froze" on me. I reset the device, but that screen "froze" as well. Unuseable! I exchanged it and have had this one for about a month. Now, I just lost everything in memory. It's like the machine just came out of the box. I'm thankful I had everything backed up. This IPAQ was working one night and the next morning was broke. I did nothing to the unit to break it. When I asked the company if there was problems with this unit breaking they said they were having problems and working on the soultion. When I asked them to fix my IPAQ they said only with the money because it was internal crack meaning not there fault. Oh they also told me it would crack on just 25 PSI maybe less.

The IPAQ 3715 LCD Screen is broken from the back. HP has stated that the LCD was broken from a compression breaking the back glass. They also stated it can break with as little as 25PSI pressure. The unit was not broken the night before but the next morning when I opened the case the screen looks like a spider web and will not run at all. You can tell the unit was not dropped because there are no scratches or other problems with this IPAQ. When I called on AUG 16, the company requested for me to send the IPAQ in and they would look at it.
Today HP stated it was not under their warranty because it is past the first thirty days. The product was purchased 49 Days to the break. They do not hold clam to the LCD screen after that time and the customer must pay for the item. $230.04 plus taxes or pay $49.00 and get the broken unit back because HP looked at the unit.

When I bought my PocketPC I knew that i wanted more than a Palm Based System would offer. I have been pleased with it.
Pros
No software problems in 8+ months of use
Nice interface
Built-in Software met my basic needs
Pretty tough- I've dropped it at least ten times, and aside from the screen (where something fell on it) I haven't had any hardware problems.
Good memory, plus plenty of expansion with SD card
Small enough to fit unobtrusively in my pants or jacket pocket.
Cons
Camera quality is very mediocre if in anything but bright natural light.
I did break the screen, but it was my fault, and it was very expensive to fix. If I hadn't had it for only 5 months I would have bought a new one. The repair service was much faster than they told me. I was pleased with HP's service in that regard.
Overall a good Pocket PC.
