I ordered this battery because I thought my iPod Mini was having problems because of a bad battery. However, it turns out that it wasn't my battery, but some other more serious problem with my iPod. No worries, because the support from ipodjuice was excellent. I called them over the phone and spoke to a live person. I didn't want to return it right away, because I wanted to make sure that it wasn't the battery that was causing my iPod to have problems. So they sent me another battery just to make sure. Since I tried two new batteries, I'm now 100% sure that it wasn't battery (It's most likely the hard drive has gone bad). So I called them again and I was able to send it all back in the return envelope that they sent me. The people over the phone were very nice and helpful and the whole process was completely painless and hassle free.
As for the product itself, also very good. The tools did the job without damaging or scratching my iPod at all. The iOpener is made from some pretty strong plastic and the two screwdrivers are magnetic, so no problems losing screws. They're also the right size, so no stripped screws either. Opening the Ipod, replacing the battery, and putting it all back together took only a few minutes. Excellence price and it shipped on time. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who needs to replace a battery for their iPod Mini.

I needed a cheap mp3 player for my car after what self respecting guy doesn't have a mp3 player in his car. After scouting out for a new player I came across this battery replacement kit. Being the adventurous kind I opted to replace the battery on my long dead iPod!
I was pleasantly surprised after the battery arrived in 5 days. Read the instructions, watched a couple of Youtube videos. I was ready. I plunged head long thinking it would be complicated, fortunately the whole operation took 10 mins and was trouble free. The iPods doing fine. The battery now lasts 10+ hrs. I'm now thinking of replacing the hard drive with a CF card! Know where I can get a cheap 32 GB CF card?

The battery worked just fine, but I was worried since the wires are larger. Turned out to not be a problem.
The only problem I had was the instructions sent to me was not for my Ipod MINI. Luckily, I found a video that showed me how to install the battery. I highly recommend finding and watching the video before and during the installation.

This saved an Ipod for very little money but I would give it a 2 on a hardness scale for an electronics techy and a 7 on a scale for a CPA. Its well within the skill range of the average person as long as they give a little patience. You can save your Ipod just relax and take your time
