Digital camera Review: These speakers + integrated sound card sound better than an Altec speakers with a high end sound card
Summary: 5 Stars
We just upgraded our old XP computer, which had an very high end sound card with mid-level Altec 5.1 speakers. We were going to buy another high end sound card for our Windows 7 computer when my wife bought these speakers.
These speakers running of a integrated sound card sound 3x as crisp and clear as the old system.
Yes, these speakers are expensive but they saved us from having to buy a new sound card - which would be about half of the price of these speakers.
Love the speakers and yes they are worth the higher price. An extra bonus is that they look like pieces of art instead of having another black on white boxy item lying around.
(Plus it is fun to feel the air being thrown from all three speakers).
