Digital camera Review: A SUPERB DEVICE

This speaker system is a delight. It is beautiful; both sonically and visually. I have the system out on the middle of the table and it brings all sorts of quires as to function, until I turn it on, then it elicits a "WOW" and that is how I feel about this speaker system. At Christmas I had it on the table and was admired by family and friend, then one was unwrapped as a gift, to surprise and delight.
This is a wonderful system and I highly recommend it. We now use it with an ipod. Originally we had it as a speaker system for a computer, and it functioned very well in that capacity.

This item is well built, loud, clear and works as advertised. Touch both the louder and softer metal contacts at the same time and it mutes. The cord between the speakers and the subs is long enough to place the sticks most places that I put them. I dropped one of the 4 speaker sound sticks and one of the speakers dislodged. It took a bit of enginuity to get the speaker back in it's proper space without ungluing the plastic casing. It slipped right back into place and hasn't disloged since.. through several drops. The rubber base of the sticks keeps things from moving well enough for general use. I move the sticks around depending on what i'm doing and this leads to previously said drops. The cables are well built. My Lhasa Aspso(dog) had a go at chewing the cables and they survived. Additionally, a jealous neighbour had a go at the power cable with his knife. Unfortunately, he succeeded at cutting the cable. A few twists, some solder and Electric tape and it was as good as new. I would definately suggest keeping liquid away from the sub. It's top acts as a bowl that makes sure that any stray liquid finds it's way into the sub.
All in all, this is the best system that I've ever owned and worth my time to repair.

I bought this in August 2008; I was happy with this then, and I'm still happy with it after 2 1/2 years. The desktop footprint is small, and the tilting soundsticks are a nice bonus. The connectors are shielded, so there's no interference when my cellphone is ringing. It looks really great (for designers like me, aesthetics is a big deal). There is no problem with the connectors even with repeated unplugging when I clean my workspace every month. I only rip my music to at least 320 kbps, and the sound quality from this help me appreciate the nuances in soft passages as well as the power in the chorus, and this thing has outperformed and outlived other speakers tied to my other computers.Digital camera Review: A very pleasant suprise

I'll be concise...at $110 w/ free shipping, this product is simply outstanding. Perhaps 5 minutes from opening the box to listening some excellent Al Green via Pandora off my Mac. They look cool as hell, holding their own next to the Apple. I don't know how much more $$$ you would have to spend to gain appreciably better sound quality; I'm guessing quite a bit. If they maintain this price I am going to consider buying a few of these as holiday presents.
