The only difficulties I've had with this item are more specifically related to our Cable provider. The Stick worked as described and set up was easy. I can watch TV on my Mac while I do work at the same time. It's fantastic! This is a great little device, even with the included stub antenna, reception was very good. Installation was extremely easy, just follow the prompts.
Digital camera Review: Good "alternative" to Elgato eyeTV hybrid; some software quirks

This is the same product as the Elgato eyeTV Hybrid, so it's a good choice if you want to save a few dollars over that brand. It includes Elgato's eyeTV Lite software, which is just fine for live viewing and simple recording; if you decide you want more advanced scheduling, there's a reduced-price upgrade to the full version of the software. The eyeTV software is a little quirky, though; it wants an administrator password more often than it seems it should, and updates / upgrades aren't always as smooth as they could be. Still, these are just minor annoyances.
Performance has been just fine on a dual-processor Power Mac G5.

The TV Stick for Mac seems like a good product. It does what it says it does and thats about it. I wish I had held off on it though because I just don't use it as much as I thought I would for a few reasons. First, it is actually quite bulky. It is much longer and wider than most flash drives and thus, without using the extension, ties up both usb ports on my macbook. Secondly, the antenna is a bit cumbersome and unsightly. It basically has this telescopic antenna that connects via coaxial connection (RG6, i think). I wish it could have had some sort of internal antenna (although that may not be possible). On the other hand the supplied antenna functions quite well and reception seems very very good when using it. Lastly, and this i just me, but I just don't have time to use it and didn't really enjoy watching TV on my macbook as much as I thought I would. Hope this helps someone.
