In the battle of the bulge, it is good to have the best tools availible. Our house has 3 cheaper scales that are anywhere between 3-5 lbs off. Thinking that it was better to just have one good one than a bunch of cheaper ones, I got this one. I was right. It arrived quickly, was relatively easy to set up (it helps to have a friend when screwing in the base) and is easy to adjust/fine tune/zero the scale with a small flat head screwdriver. No real complaints.
