Digital camera Review: Decent glass, but not worth it for the price
Summary: 3 Stars
This Heliopan is a nice filter, but the features are lacking. There is no coating, and you cannot fit a lens cap on.
I returned the Heliopan and got the Nikon 52mm, which has just as good glass (maybe even better), has multicoating, is the same thickness (5mm) but also fits a lens cap.
I'm not saying that the Heliopan is a bad product, but for less money, you can get a better filter in the Nikon.

The Heliopan 52mm Slim Circular Polarizer improves the color of the sky, (in distant pictures, mountain scenes, etc.) and reduces the bluish cast in landscapes. The darkest blue sky is achieved photographing objects at a 90° angle to the sun. In addition, polarizers enhance the color saturation of the scene by suppressing reflections from the subject's surface. Undesired reflections can largely be eliminated. The rim is calibrated to help in finding the proper setting when a through-the-lens preview is not available. Suitable for use with auto-focus cameras, cameras with through-the-lens metering and digital cameras.Filters
