Digital camera Review: Blew me away!

Astounding! I never expected anything like the sound quality and features on a $2 mp3 speaker set. In fact I expected it to be a waste of money. Wow! Was I ever wrong. It has fold out stereo speakers that have many times the volume and audio quality of the HTC Hero smartphone and mp3 player I got it for (great android phone btw). The 3.5 mm audio jack in folded in and out of sight when closed. When opened the mp3 holder - dock reveals the cord and jack. It can be power by 4 AAA batteries, but it comes with a 6V connector and even a cord whit the 6V jack on one end and a standards USB A jack on the other, so it can be powered off any computer, laptop, netbook, or other usb jack. No, it's not going to match a set of state-of-the art Bose speakers, but do you really expect that for 2 bucks? What is amazing is that it sounds as good if not better than my Sony mini-boom box, or most $30 to $50 FM stereo radios or players. Will it last? Who knows? Probably not, but for $5 (with shipping) I expect to get my money's worth and get some nice amplified sound from my Android mp3 smartphone in the meantime. if you had told me that i could buy speakers for my zune that were suitable for light listening at work or on a camping trip for under 10 bucks i wouldnt have believed you. but it is indeed a reality, bravo insten, a product with the efficient minded people in mind. speakers are more than adequate. price is right on the money. i would not hesitate to buy these speakers for mild listening pleasure.Digital camera Review: Built Cheap and Sound Cheap

EDIT: Hunk of garbage - not worth the $5.00 After about three weeks they just stopped working, not to mention the two weeks leading up to that the volume went bad on it, and to achieve a sound greater than stock laptop speakers, you had to put the volume up to the max which in turn created a crackled sound. Mine arrived poorly packaged in a plastic bag. The blister pack for the speakers is not enough to protect them in shipping, so one speaker was knocked loose. The plug had a short in it and I had to keep jiggling it to get it to work. Requested a new one, and it arrived in the same shape as the first, but the on off switch is very loose and won't last long. The plastic is very cheap. They sound okay after removing the case screws and re-glueing it to the case, but the screws strip the plastic with a miniscule amount of torque, so I just glued the thing together instead. Don't expect them to last too long or take ANY abuse.
