Digital camera reviews of INTUOS3 Classic Pen #ZP300E, Gray

Digital camera Review: Excellent
Summary: 5 Stars

I was a little unsure about ordering the classic as I had become used to the thicker bodied pen that originally came with my tablet. I ordered and received my new Pen within 2 business days, as promised. I opened it and was pleasantly surprised at how natural and comfortable the Classic pen was for me. I remember having to get "used to" the bigger one and was expecting the same transition for getting used to a slimmer pen. But that was not the case. It is like holding a regular pen or pencil. I am, as always, extremely pleased with WACOM products.

Digital camera Review: Good necessary tool buy, tool in total great condition, fast delivery
Summary: 5 Stars

Good necessary tool buy, tool in total great condition, fast delivery- I was a great purchase and arrived with original packaging and had no problems with the wacom pen. its light weight, easy to transport, store, and carry (as it is shorter than the other pen) and arrived fast, which I appreciated esp. since I needed it for my college classes ditigal art assignments in Adobe CS4 suite (Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator). Glides smooth on the Cintiq 21x screen, and the Cintiq 21x has a sync option for the classic wacom pen (which I'm reviewing right now). Seller delivered a good product quickly, so I'm satified. I finished classes just last week, and used the pen practically everyday for the 3mo Summer quarter, and I had no glitches,as the cintiq lab screens calibrating was fine.

Digital camera Review: Great alternative to the standard Pen
Summary: 5 Stars

I got this pen as a replacement to the standard, rubber gripped Intuos pen that comes with the tablet. it was a recommendation by a friend who really liked the feel of the slimmer Classic Pen. He really wasn't kidding, this pen is slimmer than many ink pens on the market. The feel in your hand is really very comfortable, and much more relaxing to use. Also, the barrel is all plastic, rather than a rushy rubber grip toward the barrel buttons. I wasn't sure how comfortable the pen would be without that, but I much prefer this style.

I always felt that the rubber grip became slippery over time, and lost much of its grip against your fingers, probably just the effect of the oils from your fingers. After working with this pen for a few weeks, I don't miss the loss of the rubber grip, and even prefer it since the pen itself is much easier to grip, and far less slippery than my older standard pen.

Digital camera Review: Great but...
Summary: 4 Stars

Amazon says that "This pressure-sensitive pen has the same feature set as the Cintiq Grip Pen, but with a slimmer profile that does not include a rubberized grip."... Well is not true... It seems that doesn't support the tilt recognition... besides that is a great pen.

Digital camera Review: Less like a "stylus" more like a "pen"
Summary: 4 Stars

Not that there's really anything wrong with the original grip pen that comes with the Intuos3, but sometimes it can feel a little clumsy or unnatural. That's where this little guy comes in. It basically has the same functions as the original pen except that it's slimmer, lighter and more like a real-world pen that one might be accustomed to.

I have this along with the 6D pen which is generally less useful, but great for Painter X.
