I got this keyboard pad about a week ago. It was a replacement for an old one that didn't fit very well, so a lot of this is subjective.
This cover fits very well. It seals itself to the keyboard and wrist rest and even over the clicker. It adds cushion and friction to the keys. The extra layer keeps typing and clicking noticeably quieter, and is quite comfortable under your fingers. The color is also a nice bonus. It doesn't stand out that much, but it adds a little something. And no worries- it is completely transparent.
It grips quite well. The bottom is a little sticky so it doesn't shift around when you type. The fit is just the slightest bit loose around the corners and the arrow keys, but it still is overall very snug. I catch the edges on my hand or sleeve with some frequency, but I believe that will lessen once I get used to it being there. Because I catch it sometimes, it does get a little bit of dust and gunk under the edges of the cover, but it does its job in that it keeps the gunk from reaching the keys and the inside of the computer. Besides that, it can easily be peeled off and washed. It should also keep you from wearing the finish off of your keys. The most important thing is that it is completely liquid-proof and food-proof. If you drop a marinara-soaked meatball onto your computer, it will be safe. If you watch a funny YouTube video and spit out some of your soda laughing, it will be safe. This little $6 cover, if it protects your computer from even one spill, will pay for itself a hundred times over.
Not catching the corners and getting used to typing with the skin on takes some practice. Give it a little time so that you can adjust. It's a good product if you give it a chance.
