Digital camera Review: Falls apart

The price was right on this unit, but there are a couple of things I don't like:
I have it mounted on a shotgun. The first time I fired the weapon, the light/sight flew off the gun and the batteries flew out of the unit. I tighened the unit on to the shotgun (so much for the quick release) and fired another round. The unit stayed on the shotgun but the batteries still came out of the unit. I put a tie-wrap around the latch and that should keep the batteries in the unit.
The xenon light is very powerful and so is the laser.
One thing to consider is the fact that, even though you can adjust the laser, the fact that the laser is about 2 inches from the barrel, you will never get it adjusted properly for all ranges. Since I use it on a shotgun, I have adjusted the range to about 20 feet. Any further or closer and it won't be accurate.
