Digital camera reviews of Intel E8400 Core 2 Duo Processor 3 GHz 6 MB Cache Socket LGA775

Digital camera Review: Quad cores have nothing on this.
Summary: 5 Stars

Yes I'm aware that this is a dual core but I've done my research and this Wolfdale core kicks the snot out of similiar priced quad cores. Runs cool and efficient, as far as performance to cost ratio, buy this CPU.

Digital camera Review: Sin complicaciones
Summary: 5 Stars

Excelente servicio y muy buen producto, una vez que compras te despreocupas de la entrega. Sin tramites de nacionalizacón.

Digital camera Review: Very good processor
Summary: 5 Stars

I have this in a mini-ITX build, with a 250 watt power supply, 4 gigs of ram, 4 hard drives, and a Zotac motherboard. As a developer, I often work with multiple emulators at once which can take a lot of processing power. I was considering moving to a Q9650, but the E8400 hasn't any had trouble doing anything I have asked of it. For half the price and less wattage, you would have to be silly to go for the Quad Core over this.

Digital camera Review: Who needs quad core?
Summary: 5 Stars

I was undecided between the e8400 and the Q6600 until after doing some research, I learned that almost no programs take advantage of a quad core right now, and are unlikely to in the near future. With the rate processor technology changes these days, getting a quad core now doesn't make a lot of sense. By the time quad cores are the norm, there will be something way better than what's on the market now. Dual core is sufficient for 99.9 of all programs on the market!

I was able to overclock this processor to 3.8ghz using a Zalman CPU cooler at 48C idle and 56C under load. I have a Asus p5k-e motherboard, which overclocks really, really well.

Pros:

Tremendous speed for the price

Extreme overclocking potential

Intel reliability

Cons:

Pretty poor stock cooler. Get yourself an aftermarket cooler if you plan to do any overclocking.

Digital camera Review: With all to be a classic
Summary: 5 Stars

English: Sometimes appears a processor that is remember for many time... and this is one. Powerfull, good range for overcloking, low temperatures, in only a word: excellent. I have a p35 mobo, and before a a mobo with chipset nvidia 650 with this processor, with no problem. In games is a perfect friend. Is you like it, get it!!
