Digital camera Review: A lil pricy...but it works.

I had been using the onboard LAN and it was getting somewhat slow.
I had read that this card was pretty decent, but some said it wouldn't
work for W7Pro-64. Well it does. I loaded a Vista 64 driver for this
card, disabled the onboard LAN in BIOS, and it was picked up as soon
as unit was completely booted. It does come with an installation CD
from Intel, but the Vista driver for 64 bit seemed to do the trick.
It is faster. I can tell and I'm liking that part of it very much. I
use Ver*zon DSL at 768 or whatever the transfer is and that's good enough
for me. I DON'T care for the price in comparison to the speed of transfer
I picked up, but that is not Amazon's fault, that's all about Intel's wallet.
It's ok, and I would of given it a 5 star, but the price being what it is
and what I getting out of it.....it only rates 4, though I do admit if I
had a faster transfer rate it would probably be a much more satisfying
add-on and DO recommended it for anyone who wants a half way decent
card.
Amazon as usual, handled my order with the professionalism I'm accustomed
to, that's why I'm a return customer.
