Digital camera reviews of Iomega eGo USB 2.0 320 GB Rugged Portable Hard Drive (Ruby Red)Digital camera Review: Easy to use, solid backup option Summary: 5 Stars
I read an on-line review stating how rugged this drive was, so I ordered one. It needs 2 USB ports to work (one is for the power to run the drive and the other is for data transfer). I'll probably order another in a different color and rotate them for my backups (I also back up off-line daily which I highly recommend).
Digital camera Review: Everything in a Small Package Summary: 5 Stars
I need to transfer large music files between my office and home production studios. I already had the 160GB model and wanted a larger device for my MacBook, so this was the logical choice.
The 320GB model is twice the capacity in the same physical space, and is perfect for the portability I need. Also, the USB 2.0 connection with my MacBook is very fast, transferring 2GB .wav files in about a minute. And the additional upside is that everyone who sees it thinks its a whiskey flask, which only adds an air of danger and recklessness to my reputation!
Digital camera Review: Exceeded Expectations Summary: 5 Stars
Great product. Have been considering a NAS system for the home network to backup digital photos, music, and notebook files. But also needed an inexpensive quick and dirty backup option and this fit the bill ($100).
Worked right out the box (still cold from the porch) and backed up many GBs of data in minutes. Already formatted with NTFS and contains USB cable.
Very fast. Great capacity. Very nicely packaged - small, compact, and stylish.
Highly recommended.
Digital camera Review: Excellent hard drive Summary: 5 Stars
Small, quiet, and really good looking. No issues running daily for a year now, it's way faster than my Maxtor one touch and much better looking.
Digital camera Review: Excellent item Summary: 5 Stars
I have owned a Macbook for three years and now need the extra space. I shopped around and this item was the most affordable. Not to mention it provides a whole lotta extra GB. Will I ever really need 320GB of space? I don't know, but I sure like knowing it's there.
