These speakers are amazing! There's no comparisson to other brands, it has powerful bass and crystal clear mids and treble. The one thing I don't understand is the price. This is an amazing speaker set, which to me, has great sound quality and looks for a PC speaker system.
Minor Snag-
The tiny speaker connectors have a triangular socket/key shape just near the metal pin. So if not aligned well the connect doesnt go in completely. So it is required to push the connectors well and deep , with a bit of twist.
Secondly, the stereo input connector from PC does not need the full push (at least in my set.) This connector needs to be pulled out a bit. This fixes the no-sound in right speaker issue which few users have faced. (its actually no-sound or very low sound in right one.)
Looks like they missed the finer details of those connectors.
Since the right one is also a volume control speaker, I think they put the key on connectors, in case the user misses the color codes. but now the slotted keys alignment.
Otherwise great sounding and looking speakers, for that price. And those soft touch keys to control volume still impress anyone who sees them first time.

My friend Eric told me about these speakers after he had just gotten them and installed them in his dorm room. He swore by these speakers, and asked me what did I have to loose? They are only 40 bucks! I bought them, and can safely say these are the greatest purchase I have made this year. Granted the sub is only about 8 inches and the speakers are tiny as well, they still pack a massive punch. These are by far the greatest bang for your buck and I would go as far as to say they would out perform some of the higher dollar speakers! Great buy!Digital camera Review: Amazing!!!

These are fantastic speakers. I use them with my iBook and iPod to play music in my dorm room. One of my main interests was size and style-- I wanted speakers that wouldn't take up my whole desk and that would look good with my beautiful white Apple products. These fit the bill. The subwoofer sits on the floor beside my desk, and the two satellites are on either side of my laptop on my desk. The system sounds great!
I was trying to decide between these and the Harman Kardon Soundsticks, but chose these because they're so much smaller, and cost less. My next door neighbor has the Soundsticks, and I honestly don't notice that much of a difference in the sound between the two.
Once you get your equalizer levels right, you'd never know that all that sound is coming from such small speakers. The subwoofer sounds tight, there's plenty of midrange, and the highs are crisp and clear. Plus, they look SO COOL!
I really can't believe that I got speakers this great for such a low price!!
