Digital camera Review: Amazing Sound... Not good quality...

First off... you won't find a better sound quality in any ear bud on the market, period!, however, my set broke after 4 months leaving just one headphone working. Also, the marking that shows L or R headphones dissappeared after a few weeks of use, making impossible for me to see which one was the Left of the Right earbud. I'm giving this product 3 stars because while they lasted, the sound quality was unbeatable!... should have a better quality to worth bucks...

Like D. Miller, I found these "ear buds" to be a major disappointment over my iPod-standard headset and others I have tried. The base seems okay, but the high-end is almost non-existent and the overall affect is very muddy and dissatisfying... I spent twenty minutes swaping back and forth between these and my girlfriends nano headphones, and couldn't believe how poorly they performed in comparison. And the "noise reducing" feature is hardly so - the iPod headset did as much when properly installed. $20.00 is no bargain for these mediocre earphones...
Only positive thing - the fit was much more secure and comfortabel than the iPod standard headset. At least I learned which style of headset I prefer.

I played the numbers game when deciding on a pair of earbuds for listening to voice podcasts on my daily 20 minute train commute. Figured that with a 4-out-of-5-star average on 870 reviews my chances were pretty good that I'd get a great product.
Well, I've read the 1-star reviews and not all of them are by people who are sound-afficionados concerned with clarity, bass, etc. No, the majority of 1-star ratings concern a crackling and then total failure of one of the earbuds. My 1-star review falls in that category.
I'd had these earbuds exactly 3 months when the right-side earbud started to die. At first, if I wiggled the jack or held the wire a certain way, and remained perfectly still, it'd come back but only go out again. I became so focused on holding/wiggling the wire that there were times I forgot what I was trying to listen to on the podcasts.
Today was the last time I attempted the odd hold/wiggle/be still sychronization. Nothing worked. I think now it's gone for good and I'm down to one earbud, which is annoying and leaves me with mono-ear. Can't think of anything unusual I did. Just sat on the train and walked in the train station. Disappointing.

I could not use the ear buds that came with my ipod nano, too hard. Tried several other types of ear buds before finding these from jlab. They are TERRIFIC. Great acoustics, great comfort and fit. My other ear buds seem to just muffle the sound terribly. These are clear and very sharp. Highly recommend. They also come with 3 sizes of rubber pieces to conform to your ear size.
