I purchased these earbuds in January 2010. They worked fine until one bud went dead after only 4 months of use. I thought to myself, maybe my buds were from a bad batch so I optimistically purchased a second pair in May 2010. This time I got about 5 months use out of them before one bud went dead. I purchased this earphone to use with my Sansa Clip while running. I cannot position the earbuds with any of the 3 different covers, so that the unit stays in place in my ears. Therefore, it is useless to me. They need stiffer covers.Digital camera Review: Bang for your buck!

When I purchase a new piece of sound equipment, one marker of its sound quality is how frequently I revisit old favorites just to see how they sound. Suffice to say, I've been glued to my iPod for several days.
I've spend three times this price on far-inferior ear buds. They're comfortable (coming with three different sized rubber tips), they do a better than decent job of eliminating outside noise, and most importantly, the sound is impressive. Even before doing the burn-in recommended by the instructions, they sound great. For around $10, this is an unbeatable value. For those concerned about use during exercise, they've stayed in just fine for me, and the instructions come with an additional helpful hint: simply loop the generous cable over the top of your ear. It's still comfortable, but adds an additional layer of security.
You'd be hard-pressed to find better sounding ear-buds in this price range. If you need a replacement set or are simply looking to upgrade the cheapies that came with your MP3 player, stop shopping: You've found what you're looking for.

These are amazing. Forget the price tag (which itself is a bargain), these ear buds sound really good. I did a side-by-side comparisons with Apple (in-box), Creative (in-box), Phillips noise reduction and Sennheiser PXC 250 noise reduction and I could not believe that JBuds sounded better! The ambient noise blocking is pretty good too. However, I am not sure how well it will work in a plane. The in-ear fit is pretty comfortable. Although no audiophile, I am pretty fussy about my sound quality. JBuds definitely made me happy.
