For the price, these are without a doubt one of the better earphones I have used. Sound quality is nice and clean with very nice bass, though I wouldn't recommend these if you are looking for some heavy, heavy bass. These are definitely above those $10 earphones you find in many stores which can sound hollow and weak.
At first glance the earbuds look like solid and made of foam (which was my first impression), but after receiving them I found out the buds are actually silicon with only the middle of the bud being solid so it can attach to the actual speaker/bud. Think of an umbrella. This was a bit surprising to me as I have never seen earbuds like this. I am used to solid buds.
The Second thing I noticed is that there is no physical difference between either side, other than the L and R printed on them. This is the first pair of earphones I've ever used that didn't have the little bump/nob on one side so you can tell which side is which without looking at them.
The first pair I received from Amazon stopped working correctly after two weeks, but I contacted JLabs directly and they sent me a second pair, no questions asked. They even sent it again after the first attempt failed and kept me updated every step of the way. If the buds didn't impress me, their customer service sure would.

Absolutely the best ear buds I have heard! I have heard quite a few as well. They are well made, and the sound is breath -taking to say the least. You can also use it with any new phone that has the same plug in as an iPod. Great speaker for phone use too. They are a fit the is hard to describe, sweet! I have a lot more that I can say, but if you're looking for a great set of ear buds that won't disappoint you, JBUDS are your pick all the way! I got these headphones based on Jbuds' claim that their earbuds were more durable than other brands. After 1 week, sound dropped out in one ear. I understand these are 10 dollar headphones, but for them to malfunction so totally after 7 days seems unreasonable. I'd send in the pair based on the included warranty, but honestly, I have no faith that a new pair would fair any better. Sound quality was decent, with more bass than standard Apple earbuds. For the 7 days when these headphones were functional, they would fall out of my ear quite a bit. A terrible waste.Digital camera Review: After one year time for a review!

I have been using these earphones for a year now at my job (5 days a week X 52 weeks X at least 5 hours per night) in a very noisy truck and trailer repair shop and they are still working and sounding GREAT. My job is very physical as I am either inside, underneath, on top of, and always very near and working on a trailer (eighteen wheeler variety) and I have no trouble keeping these phones in. I did replace the silicone inserts with others I had from some previously used headphones (not sure which brand) and they fit in my ear canals better than the supplied ones. I wear the cords over top then down behind my ears and coming together just below my Adam's apple where I use a rubber band to keep them together about six inches above the normal junction. I keep the cord inside my shirt (I wish it was a little shorter) and route it to my mp3 player which I carry in my right shirt pocket. While they don't keep all noise out they certainly reduce it to tolerable levels and I only have to play volume at about 75% to here my music. So to sum up I believe these to be very reliable and have sound reproduction that I am very pleased with for the price ($25 when purchased)!
