Digital camera Review: Cannot be beat for the price

I've always wanted noise canceling headphones but have always been scared away by the price...they always seem to be $300+! These JVCs were rated very highly on CNET, outranked only by $350 Bose and $380 Sony headphones. I bought them to make air travel tolerable, to be able to tune out the dull roar of the plane and the din of the airport.
These headphones are extremely effective, light and small, and have great sound. They really allow me to "tune out" completely and enjoy either silence or music/movies on the plane. Mmmm! They're very nicely packaged in a slim, light case. iPod compatible. For the price, around $109 dollars, you cannot beat these headphones. For the same price as the Bose, you can buy a pair for yourself and a pair for your two best friends!!

Remember noise canceling means "noise" and not people's voices. As advertised, it does reduce noises and would make your music sound much more clearer and a bit louder. A plus is that you can use the headset without using the noise canceling when the batteries die. I trust batteries more than rechargeable headset parts because once its out of power, you are gotta wish you had a spare battery to use it. I must warn you that these headsets are not for active moments. When there is significant motion with the noise canceling on, you get a pulsating sound. The pulsating sound can be fixed by turning off and on the noise canceling. So overall, if you are a true music lover, I suggest these headsets as a cheaper version of Bose.Digital camera Review: Comfortable & good sound quality

The quality of music is great and the headphones feel great. I personally did not have any problems with the battery installation, but some people find it a little hard as the ear cover needs to be taken off with care.
The noise cancelling is OK not as good as Bose or other high end headphones. I hear a hum when my ipod is pluged in. This hum disappears when I disconnect the ipod.
Overall I do not regret my purchase, the 300 dollars Boses was too much to justify only using these when travelling.

Bought this product after reading web reviews. I found the headphones give very high sound quality, and very good noise reduction. they are also very comfortable to wear. For me they ticked all the boxes without having to go the expense of things like a Bose. Also nice box and good set of accessories included.
