I bought this product in September (made that BIG mistake of not noticing stars count and reading reviews first) because I had a JVC TV that had worked well for decades. The DVD side was only display black and white image by November. Still under warrant, but JVC responded to my first inquiry with auto-email, but not my second when they did not follow through. Emailed the seller buy.com and they also responded the first time and then went quiet too. Wrote again and they let me know they were not able to negotiate a way forward with JVC and offered me an RMA and refund option, which I am taking. (thank you buy.com!) I will be VERY careful to CHECK THE STARS count and read reviews of electronics before purchasing products in the future.
