Got this for my wife so she could dispense with the earpiece and take calls when necessary while driving. Since NJ enacted the cell-phone penalty while driving, these should sell very well. Small enough that it does not present a visual distraction, but large enough you can hit it to answer or initiate calls. Audio quality is good, microphone does block some noise, dependent on your car's road-noise your results will vary. 12 hours talk time, 200 standby, and it has an auto shutoff feature to preserve battery life. I purchased the Jabra SP5050 for a couple of reasons: 1) municipal law 2) on the road too much for work, my arm gets tired of holding my phone to my head 3)my hands are free to operate vehicle. The Jabra didn't disappoint me. I am Regional Manager and log about 500 to 750 miles per week. Most of my contact with people is from my car while I am in between locations.
I ordered it from Amazon and the delivery was lightning fast. It was on sale at the time which meant I paid $30.00 less with Amazon.
The speakerphone is great. I didn't want the bluetooth headset because I didn't want anything in my ear. They look stupid and I didn't want to look like a kid. I searched the internet and liked the feedback I found on the Jabra. At first I wasn't sure I would like a speakerphone and it does take some getting use to but I became very comfortable with it very quickly.
Here is what I like about it.
1)The setup was seamless with my Blackberry Pearl which recognized the unit quickly. While I have a speakerphone on my phone I was always holding it up to my ear because of the volume. This is not the case with the Jabra.
2)The sound level of the Jabra is loud enough including highway driving in my SUV (Envoy, doesn't handle wind too well)and it can be adjusted with

I bought for my husband to use in his car, he has conference calls all the time. Everyone cannot believe that he is in the car, all background noise is filtered and sound is crystal clear. Now, he wants to buy me one for my car because the hands free law goes in effect in July.
