Digital camera reviews of Joby GP1-A1EN Gorillapod Flexible Tripod (Grey and Black)Digital camera Review: Cool and useful Summary: 5 Stars
This is a cool product, great for hiking with a friend. My boyfriend and I would try to set up our camera on a rock or tree with his little travel tripod, but with it's stiff legs it would wobble and was hard to set up right. This one ajusts to any surface and wraps around tree branches and fences.

Bought this because I need a way to get family pictures if nobody is around. It really is small. It does exactly what I need it to do. I have a Canon Powershot SD1100 IS and it fits perfectly. I wish there was a small case for the camera with a place for the Jobi but I'll keep looking.
I would definitely suggest buying this. It's great for hiking and capturing great shots. It's super flexible and can latch onto just about anything at any angle.
Go for it, totally worth it.

Got one of this for my younger brother for Christmas and it's really cool. Certainly not strong enough to hold an SLR (there's another model for that) but it grips on to just about anything and is VERY light.
Digital camera Review: Coolest little "I didn't know I needed it" thing Summary: 4 Stars
Who needs this thing when there are all kinds of stronger, more stable table top tripods out there? You do! If you are the type of person who pulls over in traffic to get that cool shot and you want to be in it, the gorilla pod is very useful. Wrap it's bendy legs around the steering wheel, hit the timer and smile. Very useful for those impromptu shots where a stable, level surface may not be right where you need it.
If your camera is too heavy, you're out of luck, but this great little gadget will accommodate most of today's point and shoot digitals very nicely. Love it!
Digital camera Review: Decent performer Summary: 4 Stars
This mini tripod does a decent job but in no way replaces a "real" tripod. It's versaltile, cool and appears well built (more on that later). It attaches to multiple surfaces in a variety of planes and holds my P&S camera securely. It's also small enough to fit unobstrusively in your pocket.
There are, however, some minor annoyances.
I cracked one of the joints wrapping it around chair but was able to fix it by "ossifying" the afflicted area (gorilla gluing cracked joint). The Pod still works although it is not as flexible as it originally was.
As I am sure happens with equally priced tripods, there is about 2-3 sec of small camera oscillations when the camera button is pressed. Setting the timed release for 5-10 sec usually rectifies this though.
Overall, a cool little tripod that accompanies me and my camera everywhere.
