I purchased this monopod for an assignment in Italy and to supplement my larger Manfrotto. It travels, is well built and of quality materials, certainly an excellent price. The yoke is a clever add-on and quite usable for quick response shots. I purchased a Manfrotto quick release plate later and both accessories have their uses.

Kaito XP600M is a heavy duty monopod for professional use. It works with both digital and regular cameras as well as camcorders. The monopod also has a unique V yoke, which can be used when you carry a heavy SLR camera with long zoom lens. The yoke can be mounted on top of the monopod and you may just rest the camera lens on the yoke as a quick support. First class worksmanship and quality. Five aluminum alloy sections built with rapid locking clamps. Comfortable EVA foam grip. Extend anywhere from 17 inches to 4 1/2 feet. Dual spring loaded 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch camera/video mounting screws. Just push down and turn when mounting your camera, it will pick the correct mounting thread automatically. The unit also comes with HEX socket wrench for tightening the locking clamps after they get loose after using for a period of time. Supports cameras up to 17.6 lbs. Padded nylon carrying pouch with shoulder strap included. Top section tubing size: 1 3/10 inch.Complete Tripod Units
