This is by far the best FM transmitter I have ever used.
It is so easy to use and has a very strong FM signal broadcast.
The best part of this transmitter is that it can transmit on ANY FM channel, not just 88.1, 88.3, and 88.7 (like the old one I used to have).
The 3 presets are useful, especially if you are using it while commuting in the same coverage areas regularly.
My ONLY complaint is that the LCD screen can be kind of hard to read in cars where the lighter plug adapter is very low or hard to reach.
I would buy this again and would recommend it to anyone.

I have purchased 3 other FM transmitters over the past 3 years to use with ipods in our family's vehicles....this one (Kensington 33199 Digital FM Transmitter and Auto Charger for iPod) works the best! I did plenty of research on all the choices. It is simple to use and has less static distortion than the others (others I have are Belkin, Griffin iTrip, Kensington 33169 Digital FM Radio and Transmitter). I bought this as a replcement for one that was stolen months ago. I was taking a trip through Minn to ND and discovered that between the two there are few if any good (my good) radio stations. So I got another one of these to inable my ipod to keep my musically satisifed. Was it ever the best thing. Not once did I hear static or hissinf (I do in NJ) the music was clear as a bell. Even in Minneapolis with its many stations I found an empty channel let my ipod provide its musical splender. My son got an iTouch and it was seamless he unconnected my classic and attached the iTouch and off we went to what he considers music.
Great product and the 4 stars is because back home in NJ there is static and hissing.

I have owned quite a few of these so called FM transmitters in my time. I had nearly lost hope until I saw the reviews for this Kensington model. At first I was a skeptic, but I had a long trip in the car ahead of me, (The length of California) so I was required to find some music solution.
The quality of this product is by far the best I have ever used. I'll leave a fact as proof. I drove nearly the length of California on only two different FM channels. Anyone who has ever had one of these knows you must constantly be toggling between stations, but not with this one.
