Digital camera reviews of Kensington 33374 Wireless Presenter with Laser Pointer

Digital camera Review: Easy to install and use
Summary: 5 Stars

I found it very simple to install the device and use it. I like how the USB adapter is stored in the clicker and that once you remove the USB device the power in the clicker shuts down.

Digital camera Review: Great Product!!!!

Digital camera Review: Works well on PCs and Macs
Summary: 4 Stars

My husband and I both teach large lectures at a university. This slide advancer works consistently with both of our laptops and with the university computers in the lecture halls. The remote's ability to communicate with my computer gets a little spotty when I'm at the back of the 300-person lecture hall, but it's very reliable closer to the front. My husband's lecture hall is smaller (150 students), and he's never had a problem with the range.

Digital camera Review: Good!
Summary: 4 Stars

Good powerful laser pointer, sturdy feel, and a nice pocket for the USB plug which turns the device off when plugged in.

The only feature I don't like is that when I press the laser pointer button, it also sends the "F5" key to the computer so that the powerpoint file goes to presentation mode starting at the first slide. They should have made it "shift + F5", so that the powerpoint goes to presentation mode only from the current slide.

I think they assume that people are using Microsoft Office, and always want the presentation to start from the the very first slide.
