Have bought several different clickers in the past, and them all suffering from one flaw or another, this one is an improvement on a few points:
Takes standard AAA batteries, easy to change. (some take little watch batteries...good luck with that in the field!)
Decently strong laser pointer. (some are very weak)
Simple, tactile button layout. Small and feels good in the hand. (not a lot of extras, most trainers just want the basics)
Transmitter fits inside the handle, which turns the device off. Therefore no accidental use while traveling and so batteries last a long time. (and less chance of a lost transmitter...I have several orphans!)
Not very expensive. (used to pay $100 for clickers!)
Two will work in tandem on the same computer, no sync issues. (used to be we had to worry about this if two people were presenting together)
Decent range, no interference experienced...yet.
And! [drum roll] Eligible for Amazon Prime! Mmmm, 2-day shipping bliss...
We have six of them already, will be adding a few more soon. Love 'em.

I lead group singing for a kids' Bible Club in my church. Tired of song lyrics hand-printed on poster board, I put the songs I commonly use on Powerpoint when the church installed a computer projector. This worked fine as long as I had a kid I could depend on to be at every meeting who wasn't embarrassed to sit at my laptop in front of the group to change the slides for me ( since I am playing the guitar, I can't change them myself ). When I saw this remote, I knew I had to have one. Now I just give the remote to another adult, who remotely changes the slides for me from their seat near the back of the room. It works great! NO problems whatsoever, and a great deal for the price.Digital camera Review: Best value

First i bought one and then ordered 2 more.. This is a great product. Requires no sw loading at all. True plug and play. Laser pointer is a great plus.
